Just out of curiosity, I looked up a browser-based music maker and found a cool website called Chrome Music Lab (https://musiclab.chromeexperiments.com/Song-Maker/). I ended up making this song while messing around with it:

I didn't think it was worthy of going up on the music portal due to its simplicity but I still wanted to share it. Also please keep in mind that this was the first time I've ever used a music program of any kind before.

It's official now, I spend way too much time here on this website.

But in all seriousness, I love this website. I love the community and I love the culture and overall vibe of Newgrounds. There are so many cool people and projects here and I don't see myself leaving anytime soon.

In other news, my fan count somewhat recently surpassed 10 and now sits at 11 followers. Thx for giving me a follow, I really appreciate it. Glad to have you aboard.

As for the future, I plan to decrease the number of Doodles that I post. I still get a lot of enjoyment out of making them but I feel like I'm pumping them out at a stupid rate. I'm planning on grouping more pages together into 1 post.

I'm also planning on making more art posts that require more effort than the doodle pages and actually belong in the Art Gallery. I actually really enjoyed making my Pixel Day art post (Pixels Kill the Pixel Star) and I have it in mind to start spending my Saturday nights working on art posts (like I did for Pixel Day). So stay tuned for that.

And maybe, JUST MAYBE, I'll get off of my ass and start trying animation again. I have a bunch of ideas floating through my head but I'm still quite intimidated by the whole ordeal of it (*Proceeds to have 'nam flashbacks to Pico Day 2020*). I want to at least start tackling it again soon (probably during these Saturday nights that I planned out for myself).

Yesterday I posted an animation to the portal called The Dream Myster. It pretty much got insta blammed. Here's the video on youtube if you want to watch it:

I woke up this morning and found an email from Newgrounds saying that The Dream Myster got removed "due to a low user rating". Honestly I was half surprized, half unsurprized. I think that the main reason why The Dream Myster was given a low rating was because it was too simple. The character was too simple, the background was too simple (a solid purple), the movement was too simple (the only thing that I actually truely animated was the mouth and the eyes), and finally the premise was too simple. There was no real joke. It was simply a little character breathing kinda funny. I understand all of this since, after all, this was the first animation with audio that I finished. I wanted to keep it simple so I could actually enjoy the process and not go fucking insane.

The next animation project will have an actual fleshed-out joke and probably art/animation that requires a little more effort. Of course, I'm still learning how to animate so don't expect some crazy, sick animation. I actually have the full version of the animation app I'm currently using now, so a) I don't have to deal with a watermark anymore and b) I'm able to do a lot more now that the restrictions that came with the free version are gone.

On a final note, @Potatoman followed me, which is a little fuckin insane. Potatoman's 3d art pieces such as The Everschmool and Shid Eater, in my opinion, are super cool. Because of Potatoman, I really want to get my hands on Blender so I can experiment with 3d modeling. Sadly I'm still waitng on a graphics card for my new pc. Rip.

Just sent in an artwork to @XcorpzTheAlien for his upcoming game Newgrounds Smackdown. To anyone who sees this he's hosting an art collab for art that he will put in the game as a bonus. You got til May 15th. About 5 days from now.

I attended the Art Office Hours on the @TheNewgroundsPodcast discord. I took part in the Audience Free Draw portion and the most notable thing I drew was this cursed image. Btw I fuckin suck at drawing with a mouse. This was very fun to attend and it was cool to hang out with the community. Okay, now I need to go finish my essay. Fuck me.

After a full month of being on Newgrounds and about 20 drawings (including deleted ones), I finally escaped purgatory. Kinda. I never actually got a rating on any of my pictures until my most recent post Sassy. With 5 votes, I got fuckin 2.95 out of 5.00. That's about 3 stars for you simpletons. Let's. Fuckin. Go. Of course, this isn't a great score but it gives me a benchmark to start at. I gonna attempt to become better at creating these cartoons, even with the very scuffed setup I have (all I have is an iPhone and a stylus :l). I'm also hoping to start making animations soon.
